Day 1: Li River Melodies & Karst Exploration
uMorning | Arrival & Scenic Welcome at Nine Horse Painting Mountain
After pickup, we drive to the secluded courtyard across the Nine Horses Painting Mountain, a highlight of the Li River. We cleanse our senses and immerse ourselves in the ink-wash landscape, embarking on a journey into a hidden wonderland. Here, lunch is not just a culinary delight but a ritual that elevates the breathtaking scenery with refined dining.

lDepart for Nine Horse Painting Mountain, arrive at the hotel by the Li River, and enjoy an ice-breaking session followed by a welcome tea ceremony and lunch (approximately 60 minutes). Lunch will be served at the hotel opposite Nine Horse Painting Mountain.

【Nine Horse Painting Mountain】
One of the most famous natural wonders along the Li River, it is a massive cliff face towering by the water. The patterns formed by the stains of minerals and vegetation on the rock resemble a herd of galloping horses. The classic delight for visitors is to try and count all nine horses in the picture.
uAfternoon | Li River Crossing & Xingping Old Town
Following the lunch break, board a ferry to cross the Li River and arrive at Lengshui Village. Next, head to Xingping to not only check the 20-yuan note backdrop but also explore the riverbanks on foot, capturing unique moments through professional travel photography. Enjoy an afternoon tea by the river to slow down the pace of time.

This is a charming old town with a history spanning over 1,700 years, once a bustling trade hub along the Li River. It is the premier location to view and photograph the iconic scene depicted on the back of the 20 RMB note. The town itself retains its ancient flagstone streets, old buildings, and a tranquil, authentic atmosphere, offering a perfect glimpse into the region's rich history.

Under the guidance, we can learn net casting techniques and explore the karst ecosystem. Later, at a private riverside platform along the Li River, we can enjoy the riverside dinner. As night falls, we observe traditional cormorant fishing as cultural witnesses, honoring this fading craft. Finally, we cross the Li River under starlight and return to our poetic homestay.

Later, craft bamboo rice and pounded glutinous rice cakes by hand, savoring the warmth of tradition and the joy of heritage.

The Longji Rice Terraces are located in Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County, Guilin City, and constitute a vast complex of terraced fields.The Longji Terraces have a long history, with their terracing farming methods traceable of two thousands years. They are hailed as the "Hometown of World Terraced Fields".The terraced fields resemble chains and ribbons, coiling from the mountain foot to the summit, exhibiting graceful lines, distinct layers, and majestic grandeur. The area is inhabited by Zhuang, Yao, and other ethnic groups, offering unique ethnic customs. The terraces present different scenery each season—in spring, filled with water, they look like inlaid mirrors; in summer, growing rice shoots paint them emerald green; in autumn, rolling waves of rice turn them golden yellow.
